So, is the Breville Smart Oven BOV800XL perfect for everyone? Unfortunately not. Upon reading the safety instructions in the user manual, you'll see that you can't use foil or oven-proof glass in the Breville BOV800XL. Since many people are accustomed to using both in their toaster ovens, this could cause a problem for some people. Another concern is that the outside of the unit gets very hot-which is to be expected in my opinion-but if you have children climbing around on your counters while you're using your appliances, I can see where this may be a matter of concern.
However, despite the fact that there might be a few things that some consider negatives, all in all the Breville Toaster Oven is a great purchase, maybe as a gift to yourself. It would also be a great gift idea for mom, or for anyone who spends time cooking.
